SMITHS are the heroes of a forgotten era. Warriors who were also engineers, they could aid humanity in their darkest hour by creating great inventions and by destroying dangerous obstacles. Cast wants to be a SMITH but as a young, black girl – she finds that few are willing to give her a chance. That is, until she meets one of the few female SMITHS, the female Ms. Philomena Clock. Now, the opportunity is hers if she can survive the experience.
